On that rusty old Schnell bar???

Get yourself somewhere where there's a nice Eleiko, or similar, with sleeves that revolve freely and some plates that fit without rattling around and I suspect you will be good for 300kg straight away.

Ha Ha you have definatly trained there!! That schnell bar is great!! do you no my training partner Dean Mecosh?? and where do you train with nice weights like that in reading?

Did some circuits today-
Set 1
oly bar clean and press 10reps
18kg Dumbell snatch 10 reps
push ups 10 reps

about 1 min rest

set 2
oly bar clean and press 10 reps
18kg Dumbell snatch 10 reps
push ups 10 reps

1 min rest

set 3
oly bar clean and press 10 reps
18kg Dumbell snatch 10 reps
pushups 10 reps

Cable Crunch
set 1 95kg 12 reps
set 2 95kg 12 reps

Side Bends
set 1 20kg plate 10 reps
set 2 20kg plate 10 reps

Then 20 mins in the steam room.

Events today-
log press
set 1 60kg 3 reps viper press
set 2 80kg 3 reps viper press
set 3 95kg 2 reps viper press
set 4 105kg 3 reps viper press
set 6 115kg 3 reps clean and press felt hard this week so dropped back to 105kg to practice the viper press
set 7 105kg 3 reps viper press
set 8 105kg 3 reps viper press
set 9 105kg 5 reps viper press p.b

felt really sick after this.

farmers-
set 1 40 meters 50kg
set 2 20 meters 80kg
set 3 130kg 20 meters
shin splints f**king hurting again. new trainers helped but need resting i think.

yoke really light and my leg was f**king bad so i stopped. figure i will not do any moving events untill the comp now and try to heal up best i can.

a bit of light stone shouldering
95kg stone 4 reps
120kg stone 2 reps.

no more events for me untill the comp as i really need to sort my leg out. i was hoping to win this comp but now i will be lucky to finish in the top 6. for me now its a top 6 finish or die trying!!!!
