Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 19201 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | I had a blood test yesterday, as my original appointment at a local clinic was cancelled at the last minute I went to the nearest hospital. Kudos to them as I was in and out in no time. It is my custom on these day that I nip off for a burger immediately afterwards. On a training day I head for Five Guys at the Middlebrook, but as Thursday is a none training day, it GBK at the Trafford centre. There was, over the top of the counter, a series of oversized scribble tiles spelling out the legend "A burger without cheese is like a hug without a squeeze". Aside from the obvious fact that this is utter nonsense and wholly incorrect what was of interest was the tiles themselves. Obviously they had the letter writ large in the centre, and a number in the lower right hand corner. Some of the "E" tiles had the number "1" there and others the number "4". The "1" is obvious, but the "4" ?

'double smash burger and fries - 13.5' 'triple smash burger and fries - 16.5' I think trendy may be taking things a bit far, but then again it may not. Burgers are available in smashed and un-smashed varieties, Un-smashed for as long as I can remember but smashed appear to be a recent addition. It would appear that smashed, in burger speak simply means flattened. I fail to see the attraction. The £ signs, as far as I recall, were all present and correct, and I feel that I would have noticed. In the words of Jules Winfield, They may not be Hawaiian, but they do make a tasty burger, I rate them higher than Five Guys. One thought has occurred, the letter "F" is worth four points in scrabble, if one had too many "F" tiles and not enough "E"'s, you could add a line to the bottom of the "F" and hope no-one noticed about the number ? No ? Maybe not, I don't insist, I merely suggest.

Guess four took longer and frankly I am not sure where this would have gone had that one been wrong.
