 knock knock !! who's there ?? OLD SCHOOL SUGDEN Member 212, 11439 posts SQ 325, BP 212.5, DL 370907.5 kgs @ 100kgs UnEq | Well that is Unfortunate  So far i`ve Really struggled to train for this comp , So have decided NOT to train for it HOWEVER i`m still gonna do it .. And expect to lift a P.B Maybe i`m MAD . I just can`t get motivated to do this Olympic lifting anymore in the gym BUT on the day with the boys getting fired up i`m sure i`ve something in the tank JUST for a special occasion . | ||

Just turn up and have a go mate, will be a cracking day and a top atmosphere, guaranteed!!!  | ||

He has been asked to fly over to Los Angeles to compete at a big expo on the same day, and as all will understand this has to take priority. Mark has told us that he is very disappointed to be missing the Push and Pull as he was going to do (in his words) "a big deadlift", he does however pass on his best wishes to all that will be lifting. You win some you lose some. Felix is out but Lil Clegg is in!! | ||

Because your comp may not now have a world class deadlift BUT on a plus note i trained with Travis yesterday and we both went head to head up2 to a 190kg clean ......... I'm quite sure 200kg will go for both of us ... His 190k was poetry ... Mine was a little more brute force and ignorance... Even so i hope the lifting justifys the amount of hard work put in to organising this event and our boy Littler enjoys a birthday celebration to remember .... Thanks for letting the little boy in at last notice | ||

There will be some seriously good lifting on the day, whether it is a 200 going overhead for some of you or a lesser weight for others, the names we've got down will give 100% and more which is what makes for a good show!! I think Littler has started on the guiness already ps. How could I say no to the chance of having another Clegg lifting | ||

Thanks for letting the little boy in at last notice As Jeff says always a pleasure to have another Cleggster on board. Glad Trav's still with us too. This OH should be a shifter. Goswell has gone a bit quiet but assures me that even if he isnt on top form he'll look good. Grant has knocked out 200 a few times recently and has hit a PB front sqt of 245 so he's up there too. All bodes well. TBH I'm just looking forward to getting lost in the crowd. No insult with this crowd | ||

Yeah I should get more than 195 oh  lolWill be awasome to see that sort of weight overhead, lots of guys on here can't squat that properly or even bench it in a shirt so to stuff it overhead is just fresher than the prince of Bel Air. Who else is playing with a big pull? if the Felix isn't there maybe I can be competative for the biggest pull on the day (somewhat less impressive than felix granted but gotta do something lol) | ||

Wouldnt surprise me. I believe that there are also a few pull only guys obviously all starting 300+. Clegg snr/ Tony etc 330's? I doubt you'll be feeling lonely mate. | ||
