Right thumb hurt did it ?

15kgs improvement is fantastic. Loads of speed once you broke the floor too. Great work mate.

My two staffies only react if there's a dog making a noise on the telly. They go f**king mental if I play the harmonica though !

He was the man who sparked my interest in lifting. A giant of a man in every sense of the word.

R.I.P Vasily and Thank You

Na mate raw all the way, wraps aren't classed as equipped though are they ?

In most feds in this country, knee wraps are equipped. The GPC and quite a few American feds allow knee wraps in unequipped.

6:46 ????????

I've said it before and I've no doubt I'll say it again DWARF bas***d!

That's a tremendous time mate. What sort of rowing routine were you doing at the time ? So now you've thrashed me at squatting AND rowing I'm just glad I don't do Oly lifting.

Your strength is always affected when you make a big increase in cardio activity Martin. Perhaps you're increasing the cardio too close to the Commonwealths.

Alex and me cleared out the garage today....Sqat stands back to their rightful place and I'll be doing a lot of low weight, high volume fronties to get back into it. I'm hoping that lots of fronties will stop my habit of going forward in the backsquat too.

Did you ever try the 2k row ? 7:24 at 10 resistance is no mean feat for a fat knacker but I'd back you to go sub 7 mins very quickly with your work ethic.

My bicep tendon on my left arm was really feeling it by the last set, unfortunately we don't have any bumpers less than 20kg so I can't drop it from overhead.

Hah ! I have 190 kgs of bumpers from 25's down to 10's.....Totally wasted on a fat knacker like myself.

You seem to attract idiots to your platform....Remember the skinny little t**t who kept walking onto your platform between sets and posing in the mirror?

That's a great improvement on the cardio mate as you said, you didn't beat your PB you truly smashed it. Fwiw, when I was doing a lot of cardio I always did the weights first. The weights did adversely affect the cardio but nowhere near as badly as the weights were affected if I did the cardio first.

What a talent. The lockouts on those deadlifts were fantastic.

I like it. It can be as low or as high volume as you wish. Wendler does say "whenever I get the itch to do more assistance work,I scratch it." If you use the option two percentages along with the BBB template I think it's plenty of work. The triumverate method allows for lots of accessory work and Wendler does mention doing one set of pulls for every set of a pushing exercise.

For a weak, aging, simple soul like myself, it works well and I'm definitely a fan.

170 frontie is taking it easy ? You and I live in different worlds mate.
Has the drop in the jerk only happened since the Uni closed ? Could it just be that you need Dave's eagle eye on your technique ? Is it just the jerk or is your snatch buggered up too ? Have you thouht of a trip to O.S.G to rekindle your oly interest ?
It'd be a great shame if you gave up oly lifting after the hard graft you've put in.
