Should be calling you a c**t for the 140 overhead but i cant bring myself to it. Solid work mate - although my back is still in bits from Saturday.

thanks fellas, the weight felt really heavy sat on my shoulders but the pressing was actually ok, never felt stronger than usual or anything but timing seemed better between leg drive and press tonight

hi kenny thats a great push press! strange to fail a 120 log then go do that 2 days after or whatever it was!! Monster! need to adjust something on the log imo as with 140 push press your tricep power must easily be able to throw 130 up on a log

cheers Ben/Shane and yeah i just cant transfer the overhead on the log it seems, reps seem to be ok lately on log near my max but just not an event for me i dont think, will keep at it and leave the max weights to you Wink *

thanks chaps, overhead was feeling good that night but im very hit and miss with it.

today went like this

Deada
110-3
150-3
200-3
230-1
250-1
270-1
290-f slowly getting closer
250-3
230-3
200-3

bench
70-3
110-3
150-2
160-1
110-11
110-8

did some dips/tricep stuff, deads felt good and 270 was nice hence the pb attempt
the reps after were done with straps as i couldnt be arsed holding the bar

Roll-Eyes

quite nice not training for a comp but starting a new programme monday to hopefully help next season, we shall see

Good session kenny. Although why do you try going for a 10kg PB? I bet you would have had 285kg and it would bring you closer to 290?
