I agree - first time I trained at HHH I met you and thought we would be at similar levels - an idea which went out of my head after you absolutely OWNED me and Ben on yoke press...good to see your log on here mate!

trained thursday just wanted to do 3 of 3 fast lifts resting 1 minute between sets
deads 200kg 3x3
squat 100kg 3x3
bench 110kg 3x3

not long or heavy session got to save myself for training on tuesday

Trained at olympic today was an awesome gym, not very structured training from me because i wanted to test all the equipment out for the comp
started on the thin log a lot narrower than expected and managed 0 reps at 100kg quite close everytime but lacked that bit of power hopefully a few weeks close grip bench can sort that out because 70 just feels a bit light and id be happier with 1 at 100kg

did a few runs 20 mtr with 220 yoke not timed
then 3 with 260kg timed the third at 15 secs

did around 3 or 4 runs with farmers at 100kg felt nice did the yoke and farmers together and hit the plate on the yoke as i was going past which messed up balance a bit so i was annoyed with that

finally had a few flips on the tyre a lot bigger than the one im used to not weight just big did one flip with weights in then took them out and did about 6 in total trying to get a good feel for it and it was nice after a few attempts Grin. cant wait to get back down there again saw some really impressive lifting and gutted just missed marks 220kg jerk but im sure il see it again Grin

cheers fellas (i think lol) yeah lost weight as well lately but feel stronger, was good to be down at olympic and think be down on tuesday again Grin. Just got back from training and a bit tired verry dissapointed with the deads but oh well
axle deads
warm-ups then 180 for 5 then 4 wanted to time 75 secs and wanted at least ten but grip gave out
tyre flips with 350kg did 1-2-3-5 then 10 in 1min 17ish
and finally wrestled about a 90kg sandbag it was an akward bas***d but was just working on quickest way to lift it and easy way to move with it did a couple of short runs but nothing major.

sunday i did a bit as well just 45kg dumbbell for clean and press followed by 3 cleans 3 presses with 85kg bar to one rep 85kg bar continental clean and press, did about 4 or 5 times to sort of practice the overhead medley

Alright mate. I was at the U90K Northern qualifier where you competed. Yours was the performance of the day for me as your strength is crazy for someone of your build.I commented on this on another forum at the time.
I'm really pleased to be competing against you at the Olympic Dragon comp and I'll be keeping an eye on this journal to see how your doingWink
