Lots. Deadlift, 100s rests 210*1,1,1 left it there upper back hurting lots, feel like couple of muscles in spasm on mirroring sides. Got sports massage tomorrow so hopefully ease them out. Will do some more deads when ready. Meh. Squats were awesome. | ||

Definitely puled something on the left side of my back. Straightening my back causes acute pain. very mild on right but very sharp on left. May have pulled it grinding the squats out and pulling the bar into my back hard or maybe jarred it on a sloppy rep. I think I've been having some issues with my left lat so probably pulled something at the bottom of that. May have to flat back bench next session | ||

I keep my hands narrow when squatting else the bar rests on a nerve and causes huge shoulder pain. Could this be a similar issue? | ||

No happy ending which was good as it's one of our male students. No, definately pulled muscle. Found loads of knots in upper back which causes my normal stiffness and pain, but this is a pulled spinal erector - which is visibly inflammed. Probably partly due to lower back being rigid not movement in lower spine to had a hinge point in mid back. | ||

Will rest off squats and deads til it's better. Eq grip paused bench, raw 20*8 60*8 100*6 120*5 140*3 150*1 150*3 2board Raw grip 150*2 150*2 2 board Eq grip with slingshot, paused 150*8 160*3 170*3 180*2 Max legal grip raw 100*12,8 Some biceps, triceps with bands, front and lat raises. May switch program up as they've changed the all England comp and I'm hoping to get to lift there as well now. Given back issues will plan a relatively gentle first month to build a base. f**k knows what. | ||

Lockout for a squirrely Not too bad. Sumo pulls Loads of triples at 70,110, few at 140 and 160*1 but back hurt alot of left it there. | ||

Equipped. August 15/16 All England equipped. (If I can lift at yne classic to qualify) Busy few months. May look at getting a slightly larger super katana to get to grips with and see how it goes. Don't want to stretch my current one out as I'm cutting weight. My delts don't feel like they fit in, can always get the tailored once I know how they fit. Squat suit should be fine. New program started today, lol. Just need a pair of functional erectors,.aha. | ||
