Yes, only need 645 total at first comp equipped, so should be ok.

Going to order a larger shirt today as my deltoid gains are too much hoping to be able to touch 220kg in a 50 and should be able to get it seated better without stretching bits of it out.

Eq squat was going fine, can probably get 280 to depth. See how it feels when I drop weight, can always get a stronger or smaller suit for august.

The rest is just focussing my training back to eq after the previous month of overall strength and conditioning work which should help as getting in and out of kit is hard work lol.

Gradually managed to get the nonjacked shirt to about a 1 board with 180. Was having to unrack myself so didn't go heavier. Felt heavy enough on lockout for today. Little support at lockout with shirt not jacked down.

Haha cheers mate.

Having a few days off training and tracking macros on an intermittent fasting diet 16/8. 3300kCal on training days, ~2700kCal on rest days. So far so good.

Been very busy and feeling a bit flat, so resting and hoping to start back training this weekend / early next week.

That's a lot of work with a crunchy shoulder, all heavy stuff, I like. Is it painful or just noisy?

Painful. Aches a lot of the time at the moment, and then hurts a bit more acutely during training. I have impingement in the shoulder joint, causing tendon inflammation and that's rubbing. Often I cannot lock my right arm out overhead as it all something impedes full ROM.

Had a load of physio and sports therapy on the right shoulder and trap and it released it a bit. Been trialling DOH and Hook grip on deads to see if that's contributing to it. My shoulder mobility is terrible. Need to get some more soft tissue work done soon to try and prevent any major damage. There's definitely something not quite right going on in there Unhappy

Well that sucks.

Wide grip squats hurt my shoulder which is why I use a super narrow grip. I'd guess there's something you're doing that aggravates it.

Yeah, there's a few things that might be causing it, having widened my hands a bit for squats due to poor shoulder mobility and heavy low bar squatting when equipped, been trialling wider grip bench, its on my supine deadlift hand and have been doing some firm stretching of the shoulders to improve mobility and shoulder position before squatting and benching, so many possible factors.

Ruling a few out one at a time to see what helps most. Wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't planning on completeing in 6 weeks :O
