First cycle of six complete. Mostly good, made a couple of tweaks to drop tempo for one squat session to allow for more weight, and switched incline press for normal paused bench. Havent felt enough bench pressing so now 2*bench and 2*cg bench in the 10 day cycle.

See how this one goes!

My back is by far stronger than my grip. It's improving but rapidly fatigues. Will be doing most sets strapless to build grip strength as well, but struggle to focus on rowing properly when struggling for grip Unhappy

Cheers all, yes it hurt a lot. I also have proper leg DOMS. Squats and Deads hurt. Bench was too easy.

This is Cycle two in progress: Squats and Bench sessions 10x4 @75%, Deads 10x2 @82.5%,

Next cycle is Squat and Bench sessions 10x3 ~80 - 82.5%, and Deadlifts 10x1 @~87.5-90%.

Just got a lot more benching, close grip benching, upper back work, tempo low box squats, tempo rack pulls and accessory work before then,

This program is brutal, but I feel like it's working a treat Grin

Entry for English Bench Championship submitted. u105 Eq class.

Commonwealth expression of interest for u105 kg Eq bench gone in. Seeing whether I'll be able to do any other classes while I'm there (IF I make weight, don't bomb and get selected) but not lifting at All England means I'm not eligible for 3 lift comps.

12 weeks to bench 240+ @105. Ideally 250kg Eq.

Expect to bench 180 raw by then too. May have to tweak latter stages of cycle to focus more on bench.

The road to bench specialist beckons.
