So what's going wrong on these jerks?

you actually remind me of a young, better looking version of myself when you jerk. The bar shoots to arms length but it's almost like you forget to punch like f**k so you end up bending your arms a bit on the recoil and have to press the bar out again.

I literally did this for years and have only managed to rectify it in the last 12-months after 7.5years of training. One thing that did help me with it was using a very short dip on my jerks. I just found my timing was better and it was more explosive which just automatically transferred into how I extended my arms overhead.

Might be worth just cutting the dip a little?

Considering they're all PB doubles on the power snatches and cleans, that's a great session!

Si, you make sense mate. Tom will back me up here, warming up with 60/70/80 etc they all look good as I don't dip so much as I don't need to. Once I get to 90 I change everything and try give it the beans. It's frustrating as f**k.

You need to practice dipping short but still driving the bar high as poss. On your early sets you dip short but just jump under. On your higher ones you dip deep and drive very high but don't know what to do with it!
