I sprained my ankle badly on 30th January so 4 months now. Gone through physio rehab, balancing/ strengthening etc and improved twice but also gone bad again. Had MRI 3 weeks ago. Awaiting appointment on 13th to see what my fate is.
I can also not run, twist, crouch down, obviously squat, cant even deadlift

Had MRI, ligament was torn on the attachment to foot. Luckily it didn't snap completely, as that would have needed surgery.

So no surgery for me, it's been 8 weeks. Still unable to jump, run, twist, push press without a little pain.
I have to wear an air cast boot for 2-3 weeks.

They said 12-16 weeks before fully healed. But MRI did should a previous tear on the same ligament that didn't heal well. It was about 3-4 years ago I think.
