There is also hard work with becoming good at sports, tom didn't just stroll into a gym and deadlift 350kg, theres a hell of a lot of elite level sportsmen without a great genetics who made it to the top with hard work. stop worrying about who has a great CNS and start squatting

I don't think you have to stay there for 2 secs for it to be a pause personally. If the bar remains stationary for a visible amount of time in the hole, it's paused.

All this guy's vids are mega impressive. I love his 330x3 pulls. His lockout is so easy. I enjoy watching hitch free deadlifts.

Ive noticed that olympic lifters seem to have a strong fast lockout when deadlifting if you look at people like clarence

» Has Z retired? (Go to post)03-10-2012 @ 18:57
allthingsgym.com _ articles start to appear saying the opposite.

“I don’t intend to retire from strengths sports. [...] I am only interested in my limits. The results of this season has been growing as never before. Participated in 14 competitions, won the 13 of them. Therefore, thinking about the end would be stupid, “- he explained.

» 262.5 kg beltless squat after a long time doing tech correction stuff (Go to post)28-09-2012 @ 08:07
I read that john broz makes all his new lifters just do squats, power snatch and power cleans and jerks for the first few months before allowing them to progress into any full clean and jerks and snatches. may be worth doing those exclusively for a few months until you feel your mobilities up to par for the full lifts

how can come when lifting atlas stone people don't herniate discs etc, from what i understand not a lot of people do f**k their back up lifting stones, although general conception is rounded back lifting is a fast track to a f**ked up spine
