Thursdays Training Back Squat 140kg x5 belt 160kg x3 belt 160kg x3 no belt (just neoprene back support) Front Squat 100kg x1 bailed after one rep due to back Short session for 2 reasons, one i had limited time, but two and mainly because my back couldn't take any more! (I've been getting bad lower back pain for last few weeks - stacked with dealift PB yesterday!) Right knee was also savagely painfull from the start and is now giving me some s**t today too | |||

Thanks, guess id like to but only have access to a gym at the moment. Also my fitness needs a lot of work - goes hand in hand with the weight loss I suppose! I don't know of anywhere that has strongman kit near me, but then I havn't exactly spent that much time looking. Funny story, before my layoff I was looking into strongman. I made my own atlas stone. Thing is it was supposed to be around 100kg but I didn't make the mould strong enough or let it dry enough.... Anyhoo the mould must have stretched or something as the stone came out over 150kg! Still sat in the yard now taunting me!!! | |||

definately worth a checkup, had mine done last year as a standard checkup. Highlighted a concern with my liver and prevented it from becoming a problem. Would have been oblivious if i hadnt gone for a checkup - in my case it was bad weight gain though | |||

Hi im new here but have spectated for a while. Decided to join up and guessed best place to start was with a training journal. Currently 24, started training weights at about 18. I have just started training again after nearly a 2 year lay off where i went from 17st to 23st - all fat! Finally got my act together a have been back in the gym about a month. Main goal is to gain strengh but also need to drop some fat quite urgantly too! My training is all gym based, but i hope someday to start doing strongman training. Will post up my workouts so far this week shortly, but for now just a hello to all |
