hi guys,

so far i have:

frame / 185k base weight

farmers walks.

super yoke / 225 k base weight

lorry wheel axle deadlift 225k (scaffolding bar)

side handle car deadlift - handles are a bit too close to really use as a car dead so we just stick other crap on it at the moment.

wood log / 80k base weight

axle press / 80k base weight - wheels fixed in placed. (scaffolding bar)

45k field rock, 85k concrete filled small keg, 92k concrete filled full size keg, 115k concrete filled full size keg. a few other freak items to pick up ranging between 65k and 85k.

2 tractor tyres 100k each, 1 tractor tyre about 300k

as of jan 2013 i'm just waiting for a welder friend to firm up a 58k giant dbel and i'm waiting on delivery of 20" atlas stone mold. can't wait to start making those.

yeah i've had some fun building the gear so i don't have to spend big money on regular weights. i use sacks of sand bricks etc for the most part.

bloody hot out today! did a little lift by myself so had to keep enough nrg in me to put everything back away but in this heat i think it was enough to be honest.
i hit super yoke down hill then back up for a few sets. only bout 10 metres but that up hill kills.
yoke 225k x 2, 240k x 2, 255k x 2.
tyre flips. 200k x 8 (4 down then 4 up hill) x 3 sets

went over to the gym then and did some leg extensions, curls then a few hundred barbell curls i guess.

this aint no lifting whether damn it. it's sun bathing for me. hah.

ya tell me about it bud. really nice to have a bit of sunshine but....

thanks for the comments on the gear. i've put a lot of time into designing the items so i can load them up without having to buy gym weights. those f**kers are expensive as hell; i use 20k sand bags, 7k heater bricks out of some old storage heaters and a collection of small york weights etc that people have given to me. it also makes the items a little bulkier and more awkward than comp stuff usually is so i hope that'll make a difference when i'm ready to compete properly.

my next venture is to build a proper log!! anyone got any suggestions for how to get one built (measurements etc.).

oh yeah, if anyone wants to buy any of the gear or help getting something designed or built let me know. i'll see if i can help out.

log presses. hah.
seated log press 2 x 8r
full log press 3 x 8r, 2 x 2, 3 x 1
one arm dumbell press 3 x 3r 50k

just to f**king hot to do anymore for me. dripping with sweat like my fat ass just ran a marathon. lol.

hit some side handle deadlifting last night. empty frame 185k 2 x 8 to warm up then went on to the car deadlift. haven't worked out the full weight of that gear yet i guess but it was a good ol lift.

just a little fun one today.

pick up and through over the lorry wheel (bout 4' or so i guess).
40k keg x s**t loads of times
95k keg x about 12
85k bucket shape concrete block bout 8 times

30k barbell curls between most sets (8 sets i guess)
50k x 3 sets 8 reps to help cool down after.

well things getting back to normal after the time off and moving all the gear to new location. lifting on my own again that is! hah. still headphones on and hit the gym first i reckon.

1 arm dumbell prss but not using much in the way of a leg push as only a small weight (higher ones being used)

37.5k

tricep pushdowns inbetween sets of dumbell press
3/4stack 10
full stack 6, 5, 5

only had time to do a little bit today but better than nothing.

deads on the frame/'magic carpet' and car/cage deadlift yesterday.

frame 185 x 6 x 2sets
+ 14k x 6r
+ 14k x5r
+ 10k x 5r
+ 10k x 5r
+ 10k x 3r
+ 10k x 1r (253k)

cage/car deads
don't really know the weight of the gear
4 sets 6 reps

back to frame. 185k for shrugs
4 sets 8 reps
