Squat Day

warm up - few mins on cross trainer

squat (knee supports on, and belt on 100k and over)

bar x 8
60k x 5,5
80k x 3
100k x 3
110k x 3
120k x 3. third was hard and was maybe touch to high. but still very happy was a good improvement. will hopefully get it and be happy with depth next week then my mini goal is done.

fronties
40k x 8
50k x 6
65k x 5, bar hit the bars on side of power rack which put me of balance on 5th one but still was ok getting up.

core x 3

every cross trainer was taken ffs. so went onto bike, 11mins. 2 mins normal with 30sec flat out. legs were on fire. all good.

swim
home.

one thing i did this time was headphones on phone and heavy metal FTW! which kept my mind from wondering and enjoyed the session.

yeah its starting to finally look up. just looking forward to able to deadlift and clean and the back be ok and get down dungeon. and look even weaker haha.

i also changed how what i eat and bit of cardio and im feeling alot lot better. not been ill so far so all good. more energy and it seems to be going good.

hope for a good year.

No lifting tonight, having to stay late at work.
Very annoyed.
Lifting tomorrow and sat now, as taking sarah to work early so was planning a visit. Shame its only a 3rd day workout and not 4th.

the 75k really stalling. i seem to get the drive up, but then there is no final press. alot of the time i find myself slightly dipping under the bar after the first major drive.

1min plank and various crunches

training is now going to be hit and miss for this week

i crashed my car late sat night on route to pick girlfriend up. now at a compund being charged the earth and no where to take it. cant put a car with no front in apartment carpark and try strip it for parts! as aint worth the money to repair, plus i think twisted so write off anyway. need to make money of parts but cant find anywhere that dont charge insane amounts of money to have it there and work on it!

update, back is quite bad after last week working on car.
tonight ill be doing core work due to having to sort parts out on the car. hope i can free my back up, and squat tomorow and cardio in the morning

really want to as not seen anyone for ages. but its dependent on car, and i may be having to work on a in-car pc install on a corsa for the new business. and i really need the money atm. if the work aint on ill try nick sarahs car and pop down.
i could do with it tbh, as with the back losing the inspiration atm.

Last night activities were core workout. Upped bridge plank to a minute. Though 1st was ok, after that quite difficult. And also upped to 30 crunches and side crunches and 20 hypers. Getting into a nice routine like doing it. And seeing a good improvement.
It really freed up my back, granted couldn’t lift out but I was able to sit and lie down without being uncomfortable and in pain. Ftw.

This followed a hair cut. Awesome, looked more like a man and less like I had a hedgehog for a head.

Food was made for today to get diet on track after couple weeks off. The proceeded to listen to sex on fire very loud. Though I listen to heavy metal when lifting and training, something about that song clears the mind and empowers me. Had a decent sleep for a change

Up this morning. And was very hard to motivate myself to get out of bed. Quite frankly I wanted to turn over, wake up Mrs. Pitbull and give her a damn good seeing to. Then go back to sleep for an hour. She however didn’t take kindly to this and proceeded to go to sleep. So out I got, coffee, some cashews and drink and out we go. Same routine as last week. As much as I hated it I feel good now. My fitness is still poor. But jog to football pitch, I wasn’t quite so f**ked. Couple sprints of the field and back. Well, I can only get fitter that’s for sure.

Squat day

After the cardio in the morning, felt good going into this, though I am tired atm. Back was bad but calmed down after some stretches etc. although nothing great happened, my back held up nicely. Though on the 120k I could really feel it. Belt was used from 100k upwards. Struggled getting syked up again this week. Think the back is starting to really make me lose some motivation and not much aggression on the heavy lifts. Needs to be corrected!

Few mins warm up on cross trainer and some stretches.

Squat-

100 x 3
110 x 3
120 x 2
110 x 2

Nothing special. Not really on track for tripling 130k by end of month. With the small break hasn’t helped. Next week I want to triple the 120k again.

Front squats
40 x 6
50 x 6
60 x 5

Lame excuse for fronties. But felt weaker than last time lifted.

Barbell Shrugs
60k x 8
80 x 8
100 x 7

Struggled for grip. And going high weights the gip really slips.

Body feels smashed today. Don’t know why. And the knees are bad due to get my lard arse to do some cardio.

Tomorrow, cardio in morning again. The pressing in evening.

Actually looked back through logs and its was to triple 120k. I have tripled it but wasn’t overly happy. So ill triple that again by end of month, then go to 125 for triple then 130 then rep out a few singles to mix it up.

well have a garage i may be renting. so looks like ill be looking for equipment now. first thing major thing is a power rack.
so can gte all my car parts in there, able to work on car. and some training. should be good.
shame still training on my own tho. but able to train how i like and not have to wait around, plus be few quid cheaper than gym membership so all good.
