%wise its not quite as bad as it sounds 17% or so

like you going 270-320 which is a big jump, but not unheard of

but that 402 looks like a peach.

His wife, Gemma, was lifting too, 120 bench, 170 deadlift i think. It was a raw comp.

Looking at how far the bar came off the ground, I'd guess it's probably a bit more like me going from 300-350, and even i'm not daft enough to go for a 30kg pb. 402 being well within his means, 487 being a considereable amount more than he's capable of. But hey I've not seen him training, maybe he pulled 485 recently. I quite doubt it though...

So i think he knew very well that he wont get it and thats why he chose it. Or some crazy reason Grin
