Been having some problems for around a month now with my right leg but not sure what is causing it and if its muscular or something more.

Usually when i have injuries i go have a couple of massages in different areas and that seems to sort the problem but with it been christmas not had that oppertunity yet.

I started off with lower back pain that got worse, when sat down for too long i would also get a burning/tingling pain down my right leg and i also had problems with my foot on that side, it seemed like i was walking on my outta foot and would get pain there if on my feet for a long time.

I had a back massage and then a few days later when training had a twinge in my lower back and since then ive had no lower back pain and the foot problem has gone but now my upper outter glute has a constant burning sensation and my hamstring is tight, when trying to stretch my hamstring i get a sharp pain in my external hip area and all the way down my IT band.

Not got a clue which is the cause of the problem, i mainly feel it when walking but it subsides after a while and then after sleeping that evening it comes back the following day, wondering if it could be my psoas or piriformis?

Sounds like an impinged nerve or issues with a facet joint etc pal...

Get yourself to an OSTEOPATH, not a chiropractor and they'll tell you straight away what you've done. It could also be elsewhere in your back/neck, but the pains being 'referred' elsewhere, namely your legs and ass!

A good sports Physio will be able to help also, but the osteopath will sort out any skeletal/nerve issues first and then take it from there Happy

I get issues with a trapped nerve feeling in my right ass cheek/lower back and 9/10 its issues I have with my C5/C6 issues in my lower neck!

Get yourself to an OSTEOPATH,

I second this, preferably an experienced one. At the very least just to get an initial diagnosis.

Where abouts in the country are you?

Wakefield/Leeds area.

I usually go get sports massage but the person i usually use just seems to massage the area i guess is the problem instead of trying to find it.

Went to a different sports physio today and appears i have lower back and hamstring tightness but the main issue is my piriformis is irratating the sciatic nerve. Also gave me some exercises for strengthening my glutes, external rotation stuff.

Feels better right now but the true test will be after a nights sleep. Going again next week and will see what its like after a few sessions.
