Hey guys! I have never done one of these before, so I will try and get to grips with it Happy

This week I have started a Westside Barbell Max/Dynamic Effort Training Routine for 4 weeks before my BPC Welsh & South West Powerlifting Championships!

For the next 4 weeks I will be mixing up the max efforts and dynamic efforts throughout the week. This week I will be training Monday (Max Effort Lower), Wednesday (Dynamic Effort Upper), Friday (Dynamic Effort Lower) and Saturday/Sunday Max Effort Upper.

For my max effort yesterday I done the follow plan!

Squats;
2 Warm Up Sets
2x3@100kg
1x3@120kg
1x3@120kg
1x3@122.5kg
1x3@125kg
1x1@130kg
1x1@135kg
1x1@140kg
1x1@150kg

Box Squats (Below Parallel);
1x10@75kg
1x10@70kg
1x10@65kg
1x10@60kg

Weighted Core;
3x8@5kg

Next week I will be changing this and be doing the same "Squat" plan however I will stpo the squats once I get to the 1x1's, also changing the supplementals! Ill do Bulgarian Split Squats (3x10), Lunges (3x10), Lying Hamstring Curls (3x10), Weighted Hyperextension (3x10) and the same Weighted Core plan.

I wont be doing deadlifts in my plan and substitute it with weight hyper's. Being that my squat is 150 and my deadlift is 230 I will work more on my bench and squat which are underdeveloped.

I will go through everything on each session for the next 4 weeks and put it on here, also try and get more video footage of the exercise I am doing

This program is in preperation for the BPC comp on 17th march! then 4 weeks on the day will be the bpc comp in kent which i will be attending, so i will do the same program but only for 3 weeks and have a week off!

hey matey Happy i remember messaging you on facebook lol

yes i am an 82.5kg junior... and tbh I am just humble about it mate! If anything you set a record for ages, and you have the ability to be able to push someone that much further and better them by having this record here mate! whether its me or someone else, you had set a british record and no-one can fault you for that! but i will post a video of the day I hopefully do Happy

This was my first ME Upper workout and really enjoyed it! I found the floor presses with a pause really worked by weak points! I can usually do 90kg for 2 with a pause, but really struggled with 90kg for one! I have picked the floor press as thats the point where I fail 90% of the time!

There were no serious lifts so I didnt video any, I was more concentrated in getting the lifts done!

Dynamic Effort Lower on Friday! Then Dynamic Effort Upper Saturday/Sunday. Really lookng forward to it! For ME Upper next week I plan to only work upto reps of 3 and leave the 1x1 sets out, same as ME Lower.

Let me know what you think. There are so many exercises that I wanted to do today but wanted to keep to a push and pull motion!
