I think you are right .
That tiny Russian just made an awesome save, looks like the Dominican is going to win it, so powerful.
WaterfieId06/05/13 @ 23:49
Pretty sure that Zoe would have won the total or 2nd...
Dominican came 2nd after failing to lock out her last 2 attempts. The Russian won, she came very close to the edge of the platform with her last clean and jerk.

Not sure why she didn't go, but I think BWL just missed out on having a genuine world champion, the winning total was well within Zoe's capabilities

It does look that way.
Does BWL still make their team pay for a lot of the expenses? The u23 in Israel was self funded or something mad like that, I remember a number like 600 quid needed for those who wanted to go? Maybe not for certain folks? Did any GBR lifter actually go to that?

I've never heard of any GB lifter having to pay their own way to an international, that's a new one on me

Okulov securing the snatch with 165kg. Seems completely routine, his 155kg looked like a warm up.I have a feeling we'll probably see something along the lines of a 200-202kg max attempt for the clean and jerk.

Looking forward to a competition where someone will have to push his attempts a bit more.

Just saw a guy get stuck in the bottom of a clean, perfect position and tried bouncing out ~10 times before giving up. There were some awesome celebrations too lol.Artem Okulov - 155/160/165, 185/191/195
Again, all attempts looked routine, even on his final attempt he barely broke a sweat. Hoping this guy will be the next Apti Aukhadov.
The Cuban tried to match him but failed his first attempt when almost fainting, thus gave Artem the advantage. He's got a powerful jerk. 185x/185/191
