As I said already no straps used for the deadlifts and grip wasn't an issue. Straps are benched for the foreseeable future.

Squat Session Today:

Squat - 3 x 8 @ 90kg
Front Squat - 3 x 8 @ 75kg
Leg Press - 1 x 8 @ 200kg, 2 x 10 @ 200kg

Managed to get lucky with a bit of sunshine again. Two squat sessions in a row out in the yard, going to be hard to go back inside. Front squats were tough today, really felt it in the wrists so I know I wasn't as upright as I should have been. Still managed to squeeze out the reps. Finished off the session with some lunges, same as last week but added 20kg to the bar.

Work has been ridiculous for a while so I have a lot of sessions to post...

Press Session:

Bench - 3 x 8 @ 70kg
Push Press - 3 x 5 @ 57.5kg
Dips - 3 x 6 @ BW + 15kg

All bench sets were no bother. No complaints.

Pull Session:

Deadlift - 3 x 6 @ 150kg
Bent Rows - 3 x 10 @ 80kg
Seated Row - 3 x 8 @ 80kg

Think I've been a bit of a sissy with both row variations, neither were much of a problem. Will increase again next session.

Squat Session:

Squat - 3 x 6 @ 95kg
Front Squat - 3 x 5 @ 77.5kg
Leg Press - 3 x 8 @ 210kg

Happy with the squat and leg press, front squat progress has slowed but I suppose that is to be expected. All squat reps were as deep as I could go with them, going to focus on keeping my squats deep as the weight goes up.

Bench Session:

Bench - 3 x 5 @ 77.5kg
Log Press - 3 x 6 @ 55kg
Lat Raises and Flys - 3 x 10 @ 18kg

Bench was a struggle, think it was down to being tired and not having eaten properly...hopefully.

Also started back on the cardio at a much slower pace this time, hopefully I'll avoid knackering the knee again. Done a couple cardio sessions, 2 miles or so, and been doing a core workout at the end of each training session. Summer is coming after all Grin.

Got a new conditioning program that I'll be testing out tomorrow, update to follow.

Yesterdays Deadlift Session:

Deadlift - 3 x 8 @ 140kg
Bent Rows - 3 x 10 @ 85kg
Seated Rows - 3 x 8 @ 85kg

Closed out the session with some wide grip pull ups (to failure), tyre flips, and hammer smashes. Nothing of concern, decent session. Again, bent row wasn't quite at the limit weight wise but seated row was about right. Increases should slow now I've figured out roughly where I should have started...

Cardio/Core Session:

Run - 3 or 4 miles (ish)
Plank - 3 x 1min on 1min off
Russian twists - 3 x 30 +10kg plate
Hanging leg raises - 3 x 10
Upright twists - 3 x 20 +barbell

Squat Session:

Squat - 3 x 10 @ 87.5kg
Leg Press - 3 x 8 @ 215kg
Leg Curls + Extension Sets - 3 x 10 @ 35kg + 50kg

Finished up with some core, roll-outs, plank, overhead squats etc. Not bothering to put up the front squat for today, only did sets at 65kg as my hip has been giving me a bit of grief. Sound like an old man!

Physio has benched me from ALL running for the next two months, at least, as well. Training etc. is fine but going to need to start getting some non impact cardio..

Push Press - 1 x 3 @ 60kg, 1 x 3 @ 62.5kg, 1 x 3 @ 65kg
Dips - 3 x 8 @ BW + 15kg

Decent session. Half and half wrist wraps are helping a fair bit with the push pressing, don't think soft would be enough support.

Normally I'd agree but I've signed up to run the Edinburgh Tough Mudder in August so I need the cardio, besides signing up cost £75 and I'd rather not spend £75 to flail helplessly for 12 miles.

Also got the Beast Race in September but that's only 10k so I'm not worried.
