Bit tired today, my lad sleeps like a devil! Also works is being a pain, management like getting loads of work and theres no one to do it! Hiring more engineers aint going well either. Oh well.

So a nasty few days with work, up at five yesterday and home at nine at night. Up at five again today and wanted to die.

KB work
5 minutes of swings/juggling/snatches etc - I then accidentally threw it at my log and it bounced onto the floor Grin

So a good session overall. Even though my deadlifts are supposed to be 5 reps (Im following a program by Bolton) Im happy as I think recovery is bad at the moment and I set the % against my 210 dead. Also last weeks 170/5 was hard for the last rep which makes me think 180/2 is about right. Not sure what to do about next weeks 190 set...

So training seems to be going really well, but deadlift seems to be very off. Not sure why - is it recovery as Ive been doing some circuits on tuesday and my lad isnt sleeping well. Also Ive set my % against my 210 dead which was on a whippy bar and was back when I was stronger at deads. Hmmmmm, not sure what to do next week for deads and try to get back up to my best and beyond. Any ideas anyway?

The 167's were piss.

Re your deadlift question, there's no issue at all. You just haven't been training with enough weight for ages. A few weeks with proper weights on squat and dead and you'll be firing.

Thanks rodge, its my garage (well its rented really). You thinking about making something?

I remember viewing this house and standing in the garage with my hands over my head to see if it was tall enought. Estate agent thought I was odd.

So nearly time to break up for 2 weeks - thank god! But it means lots of work still to do and my lad woke up at 3 this morning and went back to sleep at half four. I got up for work at five

So Im now off work for 2 weeks, woooo!!!! So Ive been thinking about my deadlift stance and it used to be wider so I tried it tonight.

195kg/F Arse, not sure where to go now. Got it moving though

80kg/2+2 Firstly it was a misload, meant to be 85 and then on the first clean I hit my chest on the way up. Arse

A good session apart from the 14inchers, defo seems to be my weak point. I think I will continue the cycle and drop the 14inchers back to 180kg and try for a triple.

Post crimbo training after being dragged around the shops. Boooo! Shoulders a little sore so a bit concerned for my benching

185kg/1 Sweet. Could have done more but left it to be safe. Will keep adding 2.5-5kg for a few weeks, it was probably the best tech for a dead of this weight for me. Left 14inch deads this week as I dont think its helping at the moment.

85kg/2+2 Very hard on the core on the fronts!

Bent over rows
55kg/10,10,10 Lat pumptastic, this seems to be helping my deadlift I think

A pleasing session, still some room to increase the weights over the next few weeks.
