So you still disbelieve then, if so why? Because you're not capable of being built like that? Because 99.99% of people aren't capable of being built like that?

To be fair, Lee Priests mum was a bodybuilder, he was one from an early age, and he got a tattoo on his face I expect he was getting gear in his milk as a child!

For me it's because so many gear users take so much more.... are 1 in a million genetics plus tiny amounts of gear better than 2 in a million genetics plus s**t loads of gear? what i am saying is out of all the bodybuilders one will have top tier genetics and a fair few more will have ever so slightly inferior genetics. Say the top guy takes very little gear. One of the others will figure out he can bridge the slight genetic gap by taking 10x as much gear as the top guy. The top guys response will either be stick to his guns and carry on taking little and get overtaken, or take "s**t loads" like everyone else. Either way, you end up with the winner taking s**t loads of gear.

As I've said in another thread recently I've seen 80kg guys beat 100kg guys simply by being ripped to death. The guy using a little may have natural superior lines which simply give him a more aesthetic look, using more could ruin his symmetry and cost him places. GH guts are a prime example of this happening when everyone tried to get as big as possible then suddenly guys are coming up with tight waist and taking scalps. This is going to end up like the thread that shall not be named and be locked soon! I don't know why I'm bothering TBH, BBing is a load of old bo***cks and placings are so political that it's ridiculous.

I would suggest slim is talking about regional shows at the top, the big guy almost always wins remember when Cutler had that weird thing going on where one side of his body looked withered, HE STILL ONE BECAUSE HE WAS HUGE, symmetry (whatever that means in bodybuilding) meant squat

Couldn't find similar sized pics, but I think it's fairly evident how Phil Heath is much tighter in the midsection than the shot of Jay and Ronnie from the 2000 Olympia. Likewise with Dorian below in his first Olympia win http://dtopten.com/top10/images/2011/06/Dorian-Yates.jpg compared to his last http://stefangladu.com/powergym/galerie/YatesDorian_01.jpg I think there were a few s**tty years when all the pro's were chasing mass over class. All brought about because of Doz in reality! Think appear to be on the up with the current crop of pro's.

If that was the case then Nasser El Sonbaty would have beat Dorian. Markus Ruhl would have beat Jay and Ronnie, Gunter Schierkamp would have won loads of comps as would have Lou Ferrigno. It's quite rare for the biggest guy to win as they rarely have the right conditioning as well and that's the key. When Dorian wins with a torn bicep it isn't because he was the best as the time it's because it's so political it's untrue and once you've got your position it tends to stick for a few years unless you do something ridiculous and look completely s**t. I've known people be told by judges that there were top 3 quality but because it was their first Mr. Britain they didn't feel it was right to place them higher than 6th. It's all a load of bo***cks.
