At the end of the day mate, you need sugar and.protein. However you get it is up to you! I like my way, found it works better than other options for me, and is also cheap. f**k know why I used to spend 40+ quid a pop for tubs of sweetwned crap lol! Grin

See how you get on with yours. And spend the money you save on steak Tongue

Awesome! couldn't read all the wright up due to my limited intellect but the resipy looks good!! I might chuck some honey in mine as I'm a big believer in it as a fast but sustainable glucose.
I find a cheep supermarket slim fast type drink straight after training gives me that lil window of extra time to get a meal down me. Sayin this I'm 88kg at the mo who the f**k wants to know what my narrow back post training ritual is lol

On balance I don't see this drink being any more effective than lots of other very simple ways to get in some protein after training.



Like chocolate milk ?

I think some creditable research placed chocolate milk above every other type of pos workout formula.

Is it me - or are supplements a bit rubbish ? !

I love my post workout atm so im gonna post again in this thread even though ive just posted it in another...

spoonfull of creatine, straight into mouth washed down with juice

Protein- 1.5 scoops
ready brek - 1 scoop
dextrose - couple of spoonfulls

mix with almond milk or water, depends if ive been shopping.

Use this shake to wash down some dolly mixtures

tastes great and does everything I need
