Another weightlifting video! Weightlifters are taking Sugden over.....you'll get addicted.
Just a couple of things, along with my normal disclaimer about the fact that I'm no expert and hope someone who knows what they are talking about will come along.
The main thing I can see if that you are coming onto your toes during the clean so by the time you're bringing your hips through you're losing loads of power. Keep the weight on your heels throughout the movement and really get your hips through as you extend upwards during the second pull.
Your foot position on your jerk is a little all over the place. Your last one looks like Kendrick Farris's style and to be fair it works for him. Normal jerk style would be for your feet to stay hip width apart as they split front and back with your back leg bent slightly and you having your heel up. The way you through it overhead is awesome though, you look like you can jerk 160kg now!

Its completely self taught so expected many things to be wrong
Not fully sure I understand how to stay on the heels and drive hips forwards, will drill it tomorrow and try it.
Will get a video of heavier, but max is probably 115ish so will see how 'heavy' I can get for you Trav.

all i can say is keep it basic for now n ejoy tring to lift a bit more each session. keep the vids coming n u can improve as u go if u think to much about the tech u'll end up gettin to the bar n forgetting what the hell ur doin lol still happens to me n iv been lifting 17 years

Will do mate, got a few videos that I've been watching and its starting to make sense. The bar never hits me high enough on the quads and that must be down to me going on to my toes too early. Will work on it and repost! Cheers mate

Try keeping ur ass down a bit longer n driving ur chest up ur missing a bit of power from ur legs cos ur hittin the bar on ur thighs a bit early. On ur jerk u just need to drill ur recive position on a lighter weight over n over till its a reaction to land in a good split jerk with ur back leg bent n ur back foot on its toe. Where u based? Do u not fancy a session at Osg?

Yea bit of a mission. Well try that for now n just work on ironing it out a bit at a time otherwise it'll take the fun out of it.
