Cleans (propa' full cleans) 80x2 80x2 80x2 80x2 80x2 snatch pulls 80x2 80x2 then did some GM's with 80kg for sets of 12 and band pull throughs. not the best... I seriously need to get my front squat up - it cant be good when you can power clean more than you full clean. | ||

Maybe you could concider taking it easy on the pwrcleans, and build more power in squats and pulls, feed and build the engine, so that you can drive slow with a fast car. Then make a (full) squat clean & jerk session exactly that; a powerclean sesh what it is only, not too tough but tough enough. | ||

Member 312, 99 posts | Cheers guys! Bit of s**t news though - ive badly pulled something on the inside of my leg - could be my groin, its up top. Walkings even painful! Really pissed off. I cant really bend down at all. so that'll put operation front squat on hold. Also yesterday i lost my wallet Start work in Manch on Monday so i'll hopefully see some of you soon! If i move in early enough i'll try and come to watch the comp! Tom | ||

Then did some isometrics at forehead height where i usually get stuck plenty of gay stuff afterwards. Groin is pretty bad. Moving to Manchester tomorrow!!!!! | ||

Member 312, 99 posts | Hi guys! sorry i could not make it on sat! fel like i really missed out I did not manage to leave home till 9am as i was out the night before so there was no way i was getting there in time. Currently posting this from my local mcdonalds as it has wifi - our flat has no internet sorted yet! Groin is feeling better! i managed a light job across the road today after work to avoid being run down. Im off now to try and finds vids of saturdays lifts and catch up before they kick me out of here! lol. | ||

Member 312, 99 posts | Well i joined a new gym yesterday which is around a 20s walk from work - its in the same building in fact. Its def not really designed for OL lifting but its the only gym in stockport i visited that actually has a power cage and olympic size bb. Groin is still a bit dodgey but its def improved! Mission front squat will commence once the groin is good to go. I found i could do GM's with little pain the other day but when i tried a squat is said a big hell no. So last night (this is al from memory as once again im surfing from the mcdonalds near us) push press 20x lots 40x 5 60x3 60x3 70x3 80x2 80x2 80x2 80x2 80x2 60x10 - for the pump Powercleans from hang 80x3 80x3 80x3 80x3 80x5 Snatch grip pull from blocks 80x5 80x5 80x5 80x5 80x5 Then did some rows These and the hang cleans were really just to test the groin which was ok. Thing is its very much a health club type place so no chalk which made grip a real prblem as the bar got really slippy. Hopefully i'll manage to get to adders soon - there is a bank holiday monday in a few weeks which would be ideal. Tom | ||
