Awesome news that he's back. Must have gotten the bug again

I think in the next few years we will see a change in the Brits going to WSM

Felix, Sadler & Frampton, whilst awesome strongman (and guys) have not got out of their group for a number of years now

Good bunch of up and coming UK strongman maybe who in the next couple of years (as the above guys get a couple of years older too) who will be more deserving of a WSM shot

Completely agree

though awesome, at WSM they all lack physical attributes required at WSM these days

It's great watching Darren compete, definitely a favourite of mine. Possibly because he is relatively short!
He always looks a few weeks out from appearing on stage for a bodybuilding comp, fair shout being able to stay in that shape as well as being fit enough to compete!

It would be a sad day if Darren doesn't compete for long, but f**k me, the man can organise a good comp!!! He won't be away from Strongman anytime soon would be my guess.

Based on the events at Europe's SM maybe the tide is turning in relation to needing to be 6'5" to place? Lalas isn't exactly tall.....

I was thinking this. In fact, the top three at Europe's were under 6'5"

I've never been convinced you need to be over 6' 4" to be a contender! Pudz dominated for all those years at 6' (alhtouhg he does look shorter than that in real life!) and Lalas coming through, big loz improving all the time and so on! Plus Darren been so close a few times and bloody unlucky in others!
