1st Lewis Mitchell (No weak event & a modest guy about his abilities)
2nd Big Kev (he IS big & it came down to the stones for the title)
3rd Jordan (I think part of the down south crew)
All 3 deserved the trophys & were up there all day (well done guys)

Big thanks to all the lads today everyone put in a top performance, big Ken was great as a ref and his experience helped th comp run smoothly, kept everyone on their toes by announcing th fingals finger first, but nobody was phased by it..
Hope everyone enjoyed th comp and got to say there will be a few guys making an impact on th opens circuit nxt year (big fish) to name one
Only slip up was a piece of silverwear did manage to make its way south of th border, and no it was'nt th VW badge from Stuarts golf but a well earned 3rd place by Jordan...
Thanks to Stuart, Jeanette, big Ken, Allan (co-organiser), Adam, Scott, Mark and Stuart for all their help..
£70 was also donated to Scott Mclone as he is doing a parachute jump in aid of cancer research, good luck to him as he has a fear of heights and pulled a bicep carrying the stopwatch all day

Just a quick one to say thanks to all involved in running the comp and well done to all competitors!
Good morning all. I hope that there aren't too many sore people today!?!?
What a great day yesterday was. A big thanks to Burns Gym and all the team involved for such a well run and enjoyable competition. The atmosphere was great throughout and there were a good number of folks who came to cheer everybody on which was great! I'll hopefully be back down to do some training there in the near future and to return the 'Shield' in 1 years time.
I'd also like to thank Garry, Kevin, junior and Lee for letting me train at Industrial Strength gym in Kirkcaldy and for showing me the ropes. If your ever in the neighbourhood then look it up as it's a great facility.
As Stuart said everyone performed magnificently yesterday and hopefully it's given a few people like me the bug to try and take things a bit further.

Morning quite sore the day, lewis couldnt put it any better mate, if u fancy comin down to train jst give me a shout and i would organise a few lads to come out to do some events. Once again, well done mate!

the trophy is shining away on my mantlepiece lol, thanks for a great day up in bonnie scotland, really enjoyed myself and everyone put in a top performance. want to say a big well done to lewis and to the HUGE big fish. top guys and deserved the 1st and 2nd. hope to see you guys around some time. cheers again. oh my arms are ripped to bits after the lovely stones, i do enjoy doin them haha
