England southern quals will be held April 17th sunday @ Strength-tec 10am !!

EVENTS; 1.Log &rt;max [120kg start]

2.Appollons axle deadlift &rt;reps [340kg ish] [with straps]

3.Super yoke 15m[400kg] Duckwalk 200kg's 15m back

4.Overheadblock press medley [100kg, 120kg, 140kg,160kg,]

5.Farmers walk 15m drop/turn 15m back ,160kg's

6.Squat frame &rt;reps [300kg] [knee wraps / single ply suit allowed]

Just a question Rob, whats the point of having such a heavy block press medley if at WSM noone did the 150 as the 4th item?
And isn't the world record 135 or 145?

I guess Rob feels a couple of people will have a good crack at it! No real harm if no one gets them though!

hardly anyone had done much training on the block press at WSM. A few had (I had done a bit) but I know Rob hadn't.

Fair enough was just wondering if I was mistaken about the WSM weight
I think its a cool event.

Ken check out Don Pope's heat of WSM in 2006 and he split jerked the 137kg stone. it can be done but scary to watch!

I can see something going wrong if I try it haha, strict press to the rescue... oh s**t I don't have a strict press!!
