Weigh-in from 9am, Rules from 12pm and comp starts 1pm
all rules about weight stand and we ask all athletes to respect the promoters on this 

Qualification for this comp -

Scotland's Strongest Man Under 105kg, May 8th (top 4 athletes)

Wales Strongest Man under 105kg, March 6th (Top 3 athletes)

Britain's Strongest Man under 105kg northen qualifier Feb 20th (top 3 athletes)

Britain's Strongest Man under 105kg southern qualfier March 6th (top 3 athletes)

Midlands Strongest Man under 105k 15th May 

N.Ireland’s 105kg Strongest Man Competition 2011 May 28th

Events 

1. Shield carry 180k maximum distance 
athletes go head to head, distance at turns 20m, longest distance wins

2. Pressing medley (same as mohegan sun)
dumbell, block, log in any order then axle for as many reps as possible in 2min
weights 67k dumbell, 100k block, 110k log, 130k axle

3. Deadlift Max Weight
wll be 3 lanes head to head and last man standing, opening weight 260k, standard bar, straps and suits allowed 
hoping to set a british record

break 

4. Frame Carry for time
300k frame for 40m, turning at 20, unlimited pickups with-in the time limit of 75 sec, fastest time wins 

5. Fengal Finger for reps, 250kg
athletes must complete as many reps a possible with the finger in the time limit of 75sec, most reps wins

6. Stones of Strength 110kg to 187kg 
fastest time wins, in the event of not finishing time from last stone loaded will be taken 



now you guys know the events i am sure you will agree they are a nice ballance of strength tests and all you have to do now is make it there through qualification

no no, sorry for confusion, there will be top 3 depending on numbers and so on
spoke to the awesome bill gates of stones and we are hoping for a strong tripple of midlands 105 machines, i just said TBC as i dont have the info for comp as yet
but JT will announce everything when he is ready

placings should work out 3 from each qualfier (except Scotland as they are host nation) and paul woods as defending champ

I did not post weights for overhead just yet as we all want to make sure the weights are spot on.
I am taking into account what the guys have been pressing in national comps last couple of seasons and so on.
but rest assured they will be to a British standard and challeging to the top pressers

for what it's worth
I was thinking 67k dumbell, 90k block, 110k log and then as many reps with 120k axle in time limit.
I know guys can do much more than these numbers in a one off lift but I think the challenge of 4 different pressing movements, the last for reps I think this would be ample weight ???

think whatever you do, weights you decide it will be right. I only asked to give an idea. Its irrevelevant at this moment in time though lol but cheers.
