You have unequipped 295 squat, 220 bench and 270 deadlift... I wouldn't be worrying about anything in 105s being too heavy! lol

I was jus saying I think the level for 105 has clearly gone up... I think I will struggle wit the deadlift unlike u ben I'm not pulling 315 as much as I'd like to.

I think the weights are spot on.. the same as the britains southern quals so it will definatly make us train harder ;-) which is what we need... awesome

In the North we decided to have a contrast between the BSM & ESM qualifiers. I'm not knocking these events by the way just stating why the Northern is set as it is.

Ben my reasoning for these events is that they are all pretty basic and standard events where as the Englands and UKs will prob consist of medleys and loading, car flipping and keg tossing etc, plus IMO max log and Max deadlift separates the men from the boys.

Yeah, I like max log and love max deadlift mate, not knocking it - just saying why the events look different to ours. Should be a good day, plenty for the 105s to get stuck into next year. Cool

i know what your saying Ben dont worry, if there was some structure or guidelines to follow, for example if there was an offical federation then it would be easier and all the quals would be similar and comparible, but lets NOT go down that route on this thread, what is important is who is the f**kING STRONGEST. Everyone has 6 just over six months so get in the gym and up the dose for this one.

Nice set of events mate.......although, I dont think 2 OH events is needed in a 6 event comp!

What if it was MAX LOG, then a second round of MAX LOG later on?

Even that would be unbalanced IMO Smalls, and I love MAX LOG

i see what your saying james, just IMO max Log isnt very taxing so it wont affect an overhead for reps later on. I would rather see a bench event in the mix Happy but that would piss people off, or would it????
