Sorry to hear about the injury probs. I have had more than I care to remember of late, but thing I've learnt is to not rush it, but at the same time keep training - TO YOUR LIMITS! Only you know when the pain kicks in, just don't go too far with it. Is yur Dad doing the Masters on July 24th at Yardley? Perhaps we'll see you there? All the best with the recovery.

Thanks mate,i have had a serious injury before and its just reared its head again...so i knowits important totake it slow.... My dad has retired from competition...he decided 30 years was long enough. he just trains for fun now. Good luck to you if you are lifting though.

ok... time to stop being a little b**ch. forget the excuses. Programme to take me to the worlds started this week. just light prep week

so far has been dl 220 * 5 reps * 3 sets
squat 260 * 2 reps * 3 sets

Benching tomorrow... ill start to keep a more detailed account from now on... watch this space.

Aims for worlds. 320 - 205 - 285 - 810.

Its not the best reading, 810 would get you joint 7th with two other people. I take it some of them aren't going to be there as normally not all the people who are nominated turn up. If they do there will be multiple flights running for most of the weightclasses. There are 23 people in the 100's alone.
