I have always been interested in trying this but the events are too heavy this maybe ideal (im only 80k bw) but am i classed as a novice im 41 yrs I have a background in olympic lifting (and i was quite good at it does that diqualify me) for years but never strongman ?

If no im happy to go along and support anyway

thanks Rusev

What do you mean as Mike said! I said that also, it's up to the promoter.
"Novice" is a sliiiiightly different story, if a comp is called Novice, people like Joni will not compete but people like Robbo have before. Call it intermediate though, and every c**t with decent strength and/or low confidence in his abilities will join.
I was just talking of first-timers sort of thing though, don't mean to offend any promoters or make them seem like c**ts.
edit: I quite like the weight category and the AM/PRO system in America, and in general things in England are fine imo. Except Robbo, he is injured.

Hey smalls, keep me out of this! Happy

But thanks for caring about me.

Events look good, would be hard to train for some of them though
