Nothing else? | ||

tabbouleh and fattoush salads were very refreshing Member 267, 8548 posts SQ 220, BP 165, DL 250635.0 kgs @ 90kgs Eq | Smalls, I'd say yes they're worth it especially if you're going to be doing lots of squats. Most, if not all, ouplc club members I've seen switch to a weightlifting shoe have made dramatic improvements in squat form (and weight) within a few sessions.

old fat fingers needs to find 10kg Member 192, 640 posts SQ 280, BP 210, DL 245735.0 kgs @ 122.7kgs Eq | My hero (dDean Bowring) always used to use shoes with a heel for squatting, but since he widened his stance somewhat and changed to flat-soled shoes he has become IPF World Champ. Make of that what you will!

Is the extra money purely becuase they looks prettier and are newer, ie is the heel higher or something I've always had VS Athletics (do-wins re branded)and had a play with my training partners Ironworks and found them much more comfortable. The do-win heals are quite a bit higher and launches my knees that much further forward whilst squatting and am now thinking of upgrading to the Adidas.

nothing to hide, please follow my life on webcam Member 255, 3732 posts | Most people deadlift with flat shoes so that they have less distance to pull, however not everybody agrees that this is always the best thing to do. The articles below by Mark Riptoe explain why a small amount of heel may help in deadlifting. http://www.elitefts.com/documents/deeper_into_deadlift.htm http://library.crossfit.com/free/pdf/51-2006_AnalysisofDeadlif...
