left the country satisfied Member 10, 19241 posts SQ 240, BP 150, DL 270660.0 kgs @ 107kgs UnEq | since i have only just started trying them out recently, i chose not to wrap them tight. Keep them moderately tight (which many would say "loose" but because it feels so uncomfortable i cant really say that!), and then reap benefits from tighting them up really good for a PB attempt or a comp. Hope Fat Pete reads this thread, he did some investigation about the direction etc subject And welcome to the board Ken, good to see you here you strong bas***d!

Member 143, 237 posts SQ 340, BP 245, DL 310895.0 kgs @ 120kgs Eq | My preference is in to out, starting at the bottom and going up in an overlapping herring bone patterm finishing with a couple of wraps straight around at the top. Oooh - and as tight as you can get them. Best option if you want them really tight is get someone who knows what they are doing to wrap you as they can get more leverage on the wrap than you can. Did I mention tight Andy H

still a cock Member 55, 1213 posts SQ 50, BP 25, DL 55130.0 kgs @ 0.1kgs UnEq | I wrap them using the style in the video below, its nice and quick and can get them really tight. The tightest I have had and seen is using a criss cross style all the way from the top to bottom, Polish champion Jacek Spychala showed me that in training, I might get a vid of him doing it next time if I can be bothered.

Nothing left in the tank. Member 5, 25565 posts Administrator | I start round the top of the shin/under the knee and work my way up covering the bottom of my mighty thinghs, at the last comp i crossed over the knee, it didnt feel any better than standard wrapping. when joe did mine tight i certainly felt the difference, but didnt like it.

Not in Loz's top 10 uk strongmen Member 144, 4421 posts SQ 320, BP 165, DL 350835.0 kgs @ 123kgs Eq | So what would you reccommend boar? Just wrap from below knee starting behind the leg upwards trapping the quad or top down?

I am a bench-only guy Member 3, 10035 posts SQ 185, BP 175, DL 235595.0 kgs @ 140kgs UnEq Administrator | I was taught to do them down to up. In or out seems to be personal preference; many people seem to wrap both in the same direction, in fact.

Nothing left in the tank. Member 5, 25565 posts Administrator | I start at the bottom simple because i can get a tighter grip with the first 'wrap' if i try starting at the top its tough to get a good start with all the meat in the way next time i use wraps, nothing fancy - bottom to top ,pretty tight (some barely cover the knee cap, i like to go a little over, mabie 1 to 2")
