Going for a business lunch shortly to Nandos, which I'm looking forward to.

Tonight is also Steak Thursday.

Today will be a good day.

I took my eldest son to Nando's tonight, and must say I'm very disappointed.

I'm convinced they've reduced the size of their chicken portions. Tiny little chickens with no real size.

I'm a mixtures of upset and angry.

I went to Nandos for the first time ever a few months ago and was quite frankly appauled at the small portion sizes.

I had successfully avoided it until then but found myself there one day in the company of a fellow lifters mates, they had come to watch him at a comp and with about an hour to spare they invited me along to get something to eat. Despite not knowing any if them I thought who am I to turn down an opportunity to eat!? Unfortunately they are the sort that I f**king loathe with a passion, lanky streaks of piss wearing skinny jeans who are all about the banter and getting a cheeky pint whilst watching the match before going for a cheeky nandos because they're all absolute lads ain't it. f**king laaaaads with their #topbants

The only 'cheeky' thing about a nandos is the lack of food for the hefty price tag.

Needless to say I didn't enjoy it and just thinking about it makes me want to tear the throat out the next 'lad' I see wearing skinny jeans, Nike air max with some ridiculous blown out hair cut.

Monday night was 2 extra large mixed kebabs.

Tuesday night was McDonald's.

Tonight was a pack of bacon, 6 poached eggs, and 5 heavily buttered slices of burgern bread all drenched in tomato sauce.

Tomorrow night is steak Thursday so that's either a 500g bone in ribeye, or a 900g tbone steak.

Friday night will most likely be fajita Friday.

Saturday I'm hosting a birthday BBQ for the missus, and I'm going to cook up a storm.

Aubergine with mince, tomatoes, parsley.

Chickpeas with lamb, hummus.

Watermelon three times a day. About 22p a kilo. Get in!

Haha I do love to BBQ with gay abandon.

I'm still a mere novice though.

The brisket is on and so is the pork shoulder. I don't really like pulled pork but I have a feeling this one may turn out ok.

I've got the prep the chicken drumsticks shortly to make lollipops, and then make the moink balls and stuffed burger patties.

By the time the guests arrive at 6 tonight I will be exhausted.

Went for a meal with the old man via a drive by the coast.

Mixed grill and fish, chips overlooking the sea.

On the way back, we stopped off at a tap that was connected to a tiny stream of water that came out of the mountains. Everybody was stopping to fill their water instead of filtered water that you pay for (you can't drink tap water over here). Filled up some bottles of natural mineral water, filtered through the mountains.

Popped out into the woods for sage leaves, came back with a carrier bag full of sage, carobs, figs. Wouldn't be surprised if I developed type II diabetes over the course of this one day.
