I am looking to buy calibrated steel thin plates.

Which to go for?:

Rogue, Ivanko or Eleiko

They all have 450mm diameter and the weight will be exactly accurate for all as they are sold as calibrated.

Will picking a brand be down to simply preference or are their differences I have missed?

Do Rogue make calibrated plates? Are we talking about Rogue that make appear heavily in the Crossfit community? If so then I'd say there bars are a millions miles away from the quality of an Eleiko so I'd rule them straight out personally.

Yes it's the same company.

Here are the type of plates I am referring to:

Watching the Arnold filled my head with so much Rogue that I forgot Eleiko existed.

Have you seen the kustom kit calibrated plates?

They are very trick and a lot less than ivanko / elieko....

Assuming they're properly calibrated I'd just go for whatever was cheapest, plates are pretty much plates...if you think you are likely to sell them on somewhere down the line then the make will become a factor of course.

If I had the money I'd go for Eleikos every time.

Oh very nice and even thinner!

Thank you for the recommendation. I'll compare them.

Yes, they were advertised everywhere. Main sponsor. I would love to train on an elephant bar.

Thanks for your view. You are essentially right, it's better to be practical about it.

New Rogue bars are excellent and not far of an Eleiko, and 1/3 the cost (Rogue Ohio- IPF approved). I use them at my gym, and they were used at recent Arnold comp. Are Eleiko a bit better. Sure but the Rogue Ohio is probably the best value powerlifting bar atm. I'd certainly take it over an Ivanko bar regardless of price

Check out Leoko and Titex as well, both IPF approved and calibrated.

Yeah whatever us calibrated and cheapest for the win. Used the Elikeo and Rouge in the same session and to be honest can't tell the difference very, very good bars.
