lol,

i was planning

3x5 back squat

3x5 front squat

stiff leg deadlift 2x6-10

some calf work

i want to have a bash at strongman and powerlifting, and they seem like a decent excercise for both these disciplines

well depending exactly where, front squats could work very well then. Dont worry you came over ok to me im not always the most politest lad int world anyway...just the other day i said to a lass "DOnt be blunt, show us your C.." and let her fill in the gaps.

What Ice meant (i think) is that, if all factors are in place, and you have no specific weak points, when you fail a sq, it should be in the hole as thats where the biomechanics of the body are weakest.

Towel round the bar increases diameter and makes it harder to keep elbows up. Bruised clavs are a small price to pay, especially as I dont plan on going on any first dates anytime soonWink

make sure you get them as tight as possible to your neck and resting on the back of your front delt. video it and we can see how you get on we them

i did 3x5 back squats then 2x5 front squats followed by 3x5 sldl and was a good session i'm gonna keep it this way for a while i think

gotta vid on my phone upstairs, will post it tommorow, cant see all that much and only used 60kg but was good

Invest in some lifting shoes mate. Your knees seem to drift forward allot like i used to do, the shoes reduced this hugely. Otherwise form looks good.
