Feeling a big pull coming. Will squat again Sunday I think. Currently being stared at by a couple who are ferociously getting off and then intermittently looking at me.... Oh well. Must be mirin my quads. Can't wait to compete on July 25th. | ||

Really noticing a difference between taking time to set up and squeeze upper back and when I don't. When tight - pull is easy throughout. Fast off the floor, fast in the lockout. Feeling good, will put a belt on in 2 weeks or so. No need to ATM. | ||

Right lat was really sore today owing to general tightness, which put a lot of strain on my right shoulder. Used a PVC roller at the end on this and it worked wonderfully. Paused wide grip bench (comp bench): 90 x 3 @ 7 100 x 3 @ 7 110 x 3 @ 8 110 x 3 @ 8 110 x 3 @ 8 (did this again and again until everything was working smoothly) 112.5 x 3 @ 9.5 105 x 3 @ 8 105 x 3 @ 8 105 x 3 @ 8 105 x 3 @ 9 Conventional deadlift (practice) 100 x 3 140 x 3, 3, 3 DB row - 30kg x 10 per side; 40 x 10 x 4; 40 x 15 x 1 set DB flat bench - 30kg x 15, 15, 12 Rear delt flyes - 5 x 15-20 PVC roller on lat. Did 115 x 1 3 second paused bench on Monday. and main highlights from my Wednesday training (15/7/15) Work was: Squat 140x3 160x2 170x1 180x1@8 185x1@8.5 Deadlift 140x3 180x2 200x1,1,1 Working on technique too.
