Bench Bar x 10 Bar x 5 60x5 110x3 150x1 180x1 200x1 - pb and probably could have got another but felt like a ton! Paused bench 170x3 170x3 170x3 Left it there as will have to train shoulders Wednesday and don't want the triceps tired like last week. | ||

One of those goals iv wanted ever since starting at a gym and getting my first 100kg bench. Got a few lads from Gym1 that should be competing a St Ives so im sure il be in attendance. Learnt last week that I need more then 1 day rest between bench and shoulders so I wasn't expecting much. Strict press Bar x 8 Bar x 5 70x4 100x2 110x1 120x3 135xf - nearly had it but not today Paused strict press 110x3 110x3 110x3 Il probably do some legs on Friday then just go all out for the bench on Saturday. Been reading up a lot on olympic lifting recently and I'm thinking about trying to properly learn the lifts. As I'm unable to squat currently I'm going to work on the stretches to allow me to do the lifts correctly when I get the knee sorted. I can't see how learning these can hurt strongman training and will hopefully allow me to perfect technique and avoid injuries in the future. | ||

Definitely have a weakness in my back since the previous injury. Think I'm going to try the plan I used on my legs to get some big reps on the deadlift and hopefully build some muscle and overcome that weakness. Il start on 180kg next week. | ||
