Generally speaking, most of your work should be based around squatting, deadlifting and over head pressing. Pick a day for each during the week. Then set aside a day for some heavy strongman stuff and a day for some speedy strongman stuff to refine technique.

It's pretty much my new routine.

Now when I say squatting, don't do the same squat each week. Rotate it. Front squat, high bar, zercher, with chains, with bands etc. Same as deadlifting; coventional, sumo, deficit, RDL, SLDL, trap bar. Pressing would be OHP, push press, Savickas press, pin press, DB, incline. Go heavy on those lifts each week with triples. Then for assistance drop weight to 60/70% and do a 5/3/1+ set. 5 reps. Then 3. Then go all out for a PR.

Choices are endless mate but that's how I set up these days.

Make a 160kg hussefel stone. Walk around with it as munch as possible. It has a way of calling out the beast in you! Bend nails at work when no one is looking.
