Really happy tried a 10mm belt instead of my 13mm lever belt and wore it a little higher across my belly button instead of under it made hitting depth less of a fight. Gotta stop using nose tork make me really aggressive for some reason start head butting the bar and s**t.

Beautiful squat. That 285 was plenty deep.

Awesome display of strength, would struggle to get three whites from the depth though.

That said camera angle might not do the depth any favors.

Thanks for sharing mate

Meh I watched it on my phone originally. Maybe an inch or two off 3 whites.

Still plenty strong.

Yeah agreed, some people pull it short as they aren't strong enough....
I think this is purely a practice thing, and not a weakness... there is excess to commit to the depth there.

Cheers guy I think more stretching and mobility work Is required I've never had problems hitting depth before but I think not stretching before and after has finally caught up with me now. I went down to fast and it caused me to rock forward a little so I came off my heels in the hole. I paused the video when I was in the very bottom of my squat and looked at it for ages and was happy with the depth maybe not quite there for powerlifitng standard but as far as strongman goes I thought it would be ok. Definitely more work on mobility needed and practise staying on heels more aswell

Cheers man, need to start working on flexibility now seem to be coming of my heels in the hole for some reason need to work on that more as I'm sure that will affect depth aswell
