Well after a week off still a bit run down from flu/bug going around here but need to get back into the swing so went to local puregym to do a max test.

b/w no scales but visibly look like a malnourished teenager at the min, certainly below 85kg.

squat
bar, 60, 100, 130 then a 152.5 (PB) then a 160 (PB!)

Bench
bar, 60, 75, 100, 115 (equal PB) then a 117.5 - not counting this as spotter was touching the bar.

Deadlift
think ive been spoiled at my local gym as its all top quality eileko gear, this thing was like a scaffold pole! almost no grip and chunky too - plenty chalk seemed to help a little though so good training for grip!
70, 120, 165, belt on then 180, 190 then a 220 nice and smooth (PB!)

Overall, very happy and surprised at PBs being in an unfamiliar gym with different gear and also feeling far from great. Happy

Usual warm up.

Squat
Bar,60,110,130,a 150 then 3 x 5 at 120.

Bench
Bar, 60, 80, 97.5 then a 107.5 then 3 x 5 at 90.

Deadlifts
8 x 3 at 110.

All good but feeling the DOMs already..
Stretch, roll and shower.

bar, 60, then 6 x 3 at 80.

Bench
6 x 3 at 60.

SLDL
60, 100, 150, then a 165. 3 x 5 at 145, good.

Usual warm up then,

Squat
Bar,60, 110, 130 then 155. Then 4 x 5 at 120.

Bench
60, 80, 100 then 2 x 105. Then 4 x 5 at 90.

Deadlift
6 x 3 at 110.

Overall by far the hardest session I've done for a long time, squats were a killer! Last session of the week tomorrow, no painz no gainz, love it!

Cheers mate, yep I'm a bit paranoid too so really make a point of keeping tight at the bottom and setting my hips. I know my upper rounds a lot but have accepted this as long as my lower back is solid and tight. I would like to think that if it does round badly it would feel awkward when starting the lift?

100, 150, then a 170, followed this with 3 x 5 at 150. Really enjoying these and hope they carryover to regular deadlift. Good sesh.

start of new week, not great start..

usual warm up then..

Squat
bar, 60, 100, 130 then tried a 152.5; this was a fail don't know what happened but got about half way back up then just stopped moving, really ground it but bar would not budge. dropped bar onto rack, really pissed off with this as progress has been smooth until now.
quick break then back into it. 3 x 5 at 125, no issues.

Bench
bar, 60, 80, 100 then a solid 110. followed by 3 x 90, bench felt strong today and feel a PB on its way.

Deadlift.
finished off session with quick sets of 3 at 115.

a strange day, gutted about missing a lift really am, but strange because everything else flew up after wards. hopefully this was a one off.

60, 100, 130, 150 then 180 (no way to make the 175 as all plates in use, very busy gym today) Followed this with 3 x 5 touch and go at 155.

Good stretch etc to finish, good session.

Warm up..

Squat
Bar, 60, 100, 130, then a 150,considered a 157.5 but felt heavy and didn't want a fail so left on rack. followed this with 4 x 5 at 125.

Bench
60,60,80,90,100 then 2 at 107.5. Followed this with 4 x 5 at 90, this felt very easy.

SLDL
60,60,100,100,130,150 then a 180, followed by 3 x 5 at 160.

Good workout,felt hard going heavy in all lifts for a change, now exhausted and glad I got at least a 150 squat and no fails.

Good stretch and shower etc..

Bar, 60,60,100,130, 153 fast and smooth, followed by 3 x 5 at 130 good but not so smooth.

Bench
Bar, 60,80, 95, then 113, solid.

Deadlifts
6 x 3 good session!

Squat back on form after a few days off, really enjoyed training today

Well had a day off there after 2 hard sessions and felt fine, just in time for another day of gains!

Usual warm up then..

Squat
Bar, 60s, 100s, 140, 153 then 3 x 5 at 133, all good.

Bench
Bar, 60s, 80, 95 then 115 (equal pb!) Followed this by 3 x 5 at 100! Should have been 97.5 but shortage of small discs today so had to round up to 100. All fast and smooth, feel a long awaited pb approaching!

Deadlift
Finished session off with 6 x 3 sets of speed deadlifts.

Really looking forward to setting some new PBs soon!
