All dependant on money NOTHINGS essential just food in vast quantities supplements just fill gaps and at most give an extra 10/15% and probably not directly to muscle building IMO (mostly to recovery allowing more training which is what builds the extra muscle)

but what id buy in order of most important:

fish oils and evening promrose oil(good for BP/insulin sensitivity and all that s**t)
BCAAs/hydrolysed protein (recovery/more sessions)
Branch cyclic dextrin (other intra workout carbs are s**t IMO i actually notice a recovery difference with this)

everything else can be covered by food and is probably BETTER by food (i suppose fish oils can be but i f**king hate fish....

then: Whey isolate

and the rest of these are bull but i get them cos im told to:
creatine
Beta alanine
Citrulline Malate

multivitamins - essential; always feel better when taking them

protein powder - for convenience/cost; if i can't get food in and it's cheap protein compared to meat

creatine - not essential but it's well cheap; take about 10g of it before and after workouts/creatine monohydrate from myprotein around £12 a kilo. Still not got through a few kilos of it i bought years ago!

other than that just food and lots of milk.

Love It !!!

Caffeine and a Creatine - micro-dose

Codeine - overdose !!

I tend not to use codeine to train anymore though .

I find it a waste of quality codeine !

MRP with creatine/carbs/protein - #1 necessity to my training as I am
an IT contractor and spend most of my life in hotels/apartments.

Chesteze + Caffeine combo for intense phases of training only.

Ibuprofen for never ending list of niggling aches from training.
