After a year away from strength sports all together to play a silly old game called rugby! I've decided to plunge back into the strength game!!

My last pb's are,

Clean 145
Jerk 160
Snatch 112
Squat 200
Bench 110
Deadlift 205

I'm currently weighing my heaviest at 104kg's but am not worried about that, just want to get strong again and compete!
I'll keep regular updates for those interested to check on Happy

Its tough lifting weights after a year without it!!

Few light deadlifts looking at speed 3x3 on 150kg

Then a few shoulder burners just to get some blood back in um!!!

Sore now but the only way is forward!!

Roll on strongman sunday, yoke, farmers, log and stones Happy Happy Happy Wink

If anyone could help it would be great! Im looking for a routine to bump my deadlift up as its something ive always struggled with!
Even with an oly lifting background!

first events session in over a year,
happy with it really but only 2 events as didnt want to over do it on first session.

yoke: 300kg 20m (only 1 drop to turn)

Axel: 106kg (hitler clean, which raised some eyebrows!!) lol

all in all a good first events session back!! roll on next week!!

Really feeling it now but a good session with a bit of volume to it!!

Front squat: 3x5's of 120 1x3 of 140
Straight leg deads (strict): 3x5's of 120 1x3's of 140
Power cleans from hang: 5x5 on 70, just keeping the oly lifting in routine

Finished with some core work and stretching!!
Nice sauna and cold shower mixed to try and avoid to much pain tomorrow!

Started off with bench 3x5's at 75kg not great but bench has always been a weakness!
Chest flies supersetted with seat rows just to try and loosen up my rotator cuff, don't know if it will help but felt good!
Finished off with some billy's and trilly's for the girls!

Still sore from legs Tuesday but excited for a full events session Sunday!!
18 inch deads, farmers walk, arm over arm pull and circus dumbbell, down at the mighty Trojan gym!

Tough day down at the mighty Trojan!!

Farmers: 100kg 20m x 2
Arm over arm pull: 100kg sled with about 100kg tyre round it! Swapped it for a 200kg tyre and moved it about 3 inches haha!
The biggest and most awkward circus dumbbell ever: 65kg x1, 40kg x8 in 60seconds!

Very sore hands and bruised forearms! Lovely jubbley!

120kg axel for a new pb!!! Using continental clean rather thank usual hitler!

90kg incline log press for 2x4's

Backs very sore from events yesterday so left my training at that!
