bit of shoulder girdle fatigue today, kept main bench low volume. think I’ll move the squat day to Sunday as think some of fatigue is from that. top set was pretty decent, comfy 2 reps. 3rd was there but would’ve been a grinder. aim to hit a single around 205kg mark in about a month time.

rotator cuff on last bench so cut session short. Been niggling for a couple of weeks. hopefully a few days off any shoulder exercises will improve things.

shoulder unfortunately not good, not really trained much and have withdrawn from the Brits after attempting 80kg and still finding too much pain.

This has actually been an issue since 2017 but the real root was when my then idiotic GF who had that “sawadee ka” place in Morley took it upon herself to ‘fix’ what was just a niggly shoulder by ramming her entire body weight through one heel into the shoulder capsule in a move that was more Muay Thai than Thai massage.

Never been right since and kind of improves enough to bench for a bit then relapses. I think to see physio again, sure she mentioned it was labrum related.

Pretty crap injury too as it affects a lot of movements.
Moral of story: don’t get romantically involved with Thai massage therapists you meet in a leeds pub, because your judgement will be very clouded and complaints about massage pain kept to a minimum as you’re only thinking about getting your end away later on.

Went to missus’s Thai spa after and got her to do some work on shoulder, said whole area round traps/rhomboids was knotted. painful even with gentle pressure being applied but feels lot looser now
