Decided to start my first training log as the last few months training started going downhill abit, never really had a training plan or anything, just turned up at the gym and usually do wotever i feel like, which usually consisted of nearly maxing out every session. Anyway done abit of research and changed everthing a little. knocked my gym training down to just mon,wed and fri and most tues and thurs gonna try do more speed and stamina work eg. last thurs was just flipping the 200k tyre and doin 150k sled pulls, nothing heavy but really felt it. Also over the last 4 weeks have just started sticking to reps of 5s and mayb 8s and feeling better for that already, was getting quite abit of grief with all my joints for maxing out so much, they are gradually feeling better now. As soon as i feel 100% again gonna start maybe goin heavy like 1 or 2 reps every 4th week. I Also do event training on saturdays, was actually my first event training session back yesterday for a while and felt good. so hopefully with my new training plan and my new training journal on here so i can keep track of everthing. Things will start looking up. Ill try post every session and a few vids to keep all up to date and any input of u guys is welcome. Cheers Happy

Best of luck with the training. Setting up a proper training plan and sticking to it makes a world of difference.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPY2p5XbzIQ. A training Vid i made up the other day from over the last year to try give me sum inspiration to get going again. Sum stuffs not perfect i know, like squat not deep enough mainly because i can only just get my hands into the bar coz so unflexible, working on flexibility tho, use the boards for benching after a tip from hixxy about shoulder problems, have actually got sum proper repboards now and shoulder flexibility does seem to be gettin slightly better since using the boards and i now use a narrower grip also. Just thought this vid wud give sum of u the idea of where im at or been at and how crap my technique is on sum things.

Cheers Dan ill try it next time, sure ill get the hang of it and josh mainly new training plan is just rep out alot more for 3 weeks like reps of 5s and 8s and then the 4th week try sum heavy lifts 1 or 2 reps, rather than maxing every week like i was and just burning myself out and nakering my joints up, also throw more stamina speed work in twice a week and not concentrate on lifting the big weights so much, i think that will come anyway. This is my plan for now. Even Event training am not gonna go heavy on things just stick lighter and work on speed.
