how do you crazy strongman type alter your training leading upto a comp? do you try and peak in singles or 3's or 5's or what?

do you take a week off before?

its only 4 weeks saturday!!

2-3 weeks before I just try and mimic the events as closely as possible. the week before I dont bother with any weights just a bit of cardio through the week. I try and eat loads more carbs than usual and get as much rest as pos in the days leading up to the comp. the morning of the comp I try and eat as much as I can because I can never eat during the events.

I up the intentity more, and then take a week off beforehand. Up the carbs on the Wednesday aswell mate!
