I train at home, got a decent set up in my garage. I went to that strongman contest they did at Vulcan when it opened, not been back yet as it's hard to go train somewhere when you have everything at home.

This is my gym in the video below. Well it's actually moved to my garage from my brothers now and has a lifting platfrom that you can see in my journal.

I see, you have a nice setup at home!! I can see why its hard to train at other places if you have a good enough home gym

Aye. I have a few different bars that other gyms in Hull don't have, like the swiss bar and safety squat bar. Most don't have a GHR either which is pretty essential for me. I might see you in Vulcan at the next comp they do.

Happier with the bench this week, after deciding I want to try powerlifting and benching as such seem to be getting used to the different technique now just need to keep pushing the numbers up.

Deadlifts started well and the 130 x5 felt good but the 150 felt heavy and couldnt manage more than 2 reps Unhappy but ill chalk it up to feeling burnt out a rest next week should do me good. Never done reverse hypers and gym doesnt have a machine so did high volume as I couldn't increase intensity.

Never attempted a 1rm in a powerlifting style with a pause at the bottom, managed 85 which was a little disappointing but hopefully improvements in my squat and deadlift will make up for it. Went straight into starting 5/3/1 for bench after that with strict pauses which went well. Definitely weak in the triceps so wil be putting in a lot of effort bring them up, good session pointed out my weaknesses better than any other. Happy
