Definetly going to carry on doing this even if im struggling to find work. If it takes 6 months+ to get enough experience for me to feel confident setting up on my own and the work is there then so be it.

Even a year mate do you do much in the way of PAT work? As that's a good way to get work too

Hotels, offices restaurant are good to try and get for PAT work, also if there is industrial premisis like a oil or chemical terminal then they have a requirement to have there portable equipment tested every 3 months.

Definetly mate it's a 3 day course up here and piss easy. It's easy money but a very repetitive and mundane job. Also the tester can be as much as a £1000+ with software. But it's another element to add to your cv as you can get relayed work on top of it for replacement plugs, cords etc
