Definitely a backwards step from the last 2 pros he’s faced

I don't get why Larry would put a picture of Eddie with his head chopped off on his page. Really bad taste and a bit odd.
Now he's posting video content that he hurt Eddies feelings for click bate. Why continue digging in the hole.

Social media really highlights commentators bad judgement and lack of understanding of norms of social interaction.

It's how these people make money, clickbait and likes, the Larry wheels of this world are harmless, they don't really bother me personally. They make a very good living from it and don't really do any harm

Bingo, it's just the lifting/strength sport celebrity culture that is prevalent currently

When I asked about "the war" in the other thread. I actually meant this one Wink

Money is still on Thor. Actually, with wild swinging amateurs who are emotionally charged, real money is an absurd bet but I'd put it on Thor if I were forced at gunpoint.

Hard to know who to pick

I think Thor had definitely taken it more serious. You can't always judge how someone looks, but his transformation has been remarkable and we have seen some boxing from him. His technique isn't amazing, but for the last 20 or so months you can see the improvements

Eddie is obviously a very explosive guy and will have the power advantage with faster hands. He appears to also be quit fit, despite his mass. If he wins? I think he will have to take the fight straight to Thor and use his fast (ish) hands to surprise him and catch him cold. Kind of using a style that corrie sanders did against Wlad

Hafthor can make this very easy for him self if he keeps that jab in Eds face and manages his distance. Tie Eddie up every time he gets close and wait for the ref to break.

I think if Thor isn't hurt early he should be able to use his reach and probably extra fitness to win a decision or stop Eddie late

It is a circus side act, but none the less there will be nowhere to hide once in the ring.

From my tiny observations, there is a remarkable difference between their respective body language and demeanour. I can see Ed oozing confidence and Thor seemingly looking quite timid and meek. Thor doesnt strike me as an agressive guy, and he certainly doesnt have the sheer aggression and attitude of Ed. I honestly think Ed has that advantage over Thor, and especially the mind games side too.

Thor's only real chance is to use his reach and keep Ed at bay in the hope that Ed punches himself out and gasses. Then he can be picked off.

I simply can't write Ed off though, because he clearly has not been showing a great deal of what he has actually been doing behind the scenes, and you know he has taken this VERY seriously. His ego will not allow him to do anything less.

I do wonder what the outcomes will be though for each individual... How will they react post fight, or will it be a rematch or extended controversial draw or result that keeps the saga ongoing.

Whatever the result, I would personally prefer Ed to win and for the whole thing then to just be put to bed and finished with.

I'd agree with you on the jab reach Thor win theory if they were Olympic boxers. Everyone wants a haymaker KO slugfest. Due to size both "float" more like a combine harvester than a "butterfly", so static haymakers is likely what we'll get.

Eddie kept strongman haymaker size. If he connects anywhere Thor will be in trouble.

Thor looks to have lost a lot of power concentrating on boxercise and hasn't had a KO to date. I know they where first exhibition fights, but he boxed an amateur with a training history of weeks last time. Where is the knockout power?

I'm not expecting a friendly expo fight were rules are 100% followed. If Thor tries to bind Eddie up everytime they get close, he's going to have a lot of skull contacting his chin and be very exposed to naughty upper cuts.

Round one I'd expect Thor to jab and when Eddie hands move in go for ear hooks. Eddie will go for ribs and counter uppercuts and maybe open with a big haymaker to try to shake Thor. Round two+ battle of the combine harvesters...
